Beginning in the spring of 2014, the Painesville City School Board invited parents and all residents of Painesville City to be a part of a continuing initiative intended to provide opportunities for open discussions about our schools and the education process. The series of ongoing community meetings is called the “Raider Roundtable.”
The purpose of these meetings includes:
- Creating an atmosphere of openness and dialog with the community.
- Seeking opportunities for residents to play a role in the education of our students.
- Developing ways to collaborate on complex challenges facing our schools.
- Providing the community with a view into the School Board decision making process.
Each forum is open and informal. The conversations take place bi-monthly on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7 PM in alternating school library/media centers.
