    Stats: Scored 51 point with 21 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocked shots in two games.
    Coach’s Quote: “Nevada’s versatility is what makes her such a special player,” Harvey coach Jerimie Acree said. “She can play any position on the court both offensively and defensively. Our program will definitely miss her after this year.”

  • Stats: Finished seventh out of 105 runners in the Walsh Jesuit Pat Ritchie Cross Country Invitational
  • Coach’s Quote: “JT performed at a high level for the tough conditions also running against tough competition,” said Harvey coach Torrez Edwards. “The course was very muddy in addition to the pouring rain and the low temperatures. Finishing with a time of 17:40, I was very impressed with JT’s race.”

  • On the Court: Scored a game-high 26 points and recorded seven rebounds in Harvey’s 65-63 loss to Perry on Feb. 14. Scored 20 points and pulled down eight rebounds in a 60-40 victory over Cornerstone Christian on Feb. 16.
  • Off the Court: Nickname is “Woo-D.”

  • On the Court: Posted 18 points and 13 rebounds, one steal and one blocked shot in a win over West Geauga. Scored a career-high 33 points with eight rebounds, three steals and two blocks in an overtime loss to Hawken.
  • Off the Court: “Vada” wants to play basketball and study in the medical field in college. Her dream college is Texas A&M (“I love their basketball team.”). Eventually wants to be a dermatologist. Favorite subjects are biology and English. Is enrolled in a business entrepreneur class in which students make a product, sell it and go to competitions to compete with others and their products. Melton’s product is an all-natural moisturizer that has an aromatherapy effect. It is made of coconut oil, vitamin E and essential oils including lavender and peppermint.
