The Painesville City Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Communications Specialist. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the district’s internal and external communications and promoting an understanding of the districts, programs, services and goals. Qualified candidates must be proficient in the use of desktop publishing software, with demonstrated skills in graphic art, photography, desktop publishing and a variety of writing styles. All candidates for this position must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and work experience in communications, journalism, public relations, or closely related field.
Salary Range: $43,995 - $52,300 (commensurate with experience)
Work year: 212 day position
