Sherri Samac was appointed Treasurer/C.F.O. of Painesville City Local Schools in August 2012. She comes from the Lake County Educational Service Center, where she served as the Treasurer since the fall of 2006, along with handling the finances for the Lake County Financing District. Formerly, she was the Assistant Treasurer at Willoughby-Eastlake City School District. In addition, she was the Treasurer of the Lake County Schools Council. She has been working in school finance for over 20 years.

 
Mrs. Samac is currently serving on LGCA Finance Committee and the Lake County Schools Council Executive Board.  She previously held roles with LCSC Wellness Committee and LGCA Executive Board. Sherri Samac holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Franklin University and an Associate's degree in Accounting from Lakeland Community College.  She has been a lifelong Lake County resident and is married with one daughter.
